Cath Caldwell is Educational Developer for the Academic Enhancement team at Central Saint Martins (CSM) and is Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Fellow of the Society of Educational Developers. The AEM team received the Collaborative Teaching Excellence Award from the Higher Education Academy
Mini biog:
Currently working as Educational Developer at UAL since 2017.

Cath is author of three books, including the third edition of Editorial Design for Lawrence King, which was exhibited at CSM and Winning Portfolios for Quarto. She is a former editorial art director, (Conde Nast in NYC and at Hearst as Design Director for ELLE UK) and still supports editorial design through her educational practice. Cath co-founded the UK’s Editorial Designers Organisation (a non-profit design network) and has been invited to judge the UK’s BSME Rising Star awards twice and was recently nominated for a CSM teaching award. Previously Cath completed a three year role at the University of the Arts, as Academic Coordinator for Careers and Employability 2013-2016 on the Creative Attributes Framework (See UAL research into the pedagogy of employability) for the Higher Education Academy.
Her MA research project was into perceptions of change in HE and current educational research is around the inclusive practice.
